Happy New Year to you all.
Well done to everyone who played their doubles challenge matches before Christmas, there were almost 70 matches played during December which is an amazing number.
We have rearranged the groups for a second round of challenges, please click here to see the groupings.
Same match rules apply
- All matches should be played before January 31
- All matches take place within the 1 hour time slot
- The score should be recorded as it stands at the end of the hour even if the match is not finished
- All games are short games ie first point after deuce wins the game
- All sets are short sets ie first to 6 wins the set. No set tie breaks, no win by two games
- If one set all a 10 point championship tiebreak is played
If there is a pairing in your group who you already played in December it is not necessary to play them again, unless you wish to do so. Once again we would like to remind players that these results are not always completed matches and are used as a guide for the Tennis Committee to select the teams and the order of play.
